My Night Routine Necessities
Although I am constantly changing up my skincare routine/trying new products, there are definitely a few staples in my rotation.
Gel Cleanser:
Gel cleansers give one of the deepest cleans without causing irritation. Gel cleansers are also great for acne prone skin and leaves more moisture than anything that’s foaming. Linked my two favorites here.
2.Toner/Essence:
I usually use toner or micellar water when I have heavier makeup on to make sure I get every last bit off. Essence; I LOVE for my night routine because it actually adds moisture to the skin and helps restore the PH levels. Lately I’m really loving the lancome 8 in 1 essence.
3.Serums:
My holy grail for years has been the UFO clarifying face oil. This serum does wonders for acne prone skin, existing blemishes, and scars. I swear by this stuff. I just emptied out my skinceuticals balancing HA serum and that was great for evening the skin tone, highly recommend to splurge. A key ingredient to look for if you want to even your skin tone is vitamin C. I always have a good vitamin C serum in the lineup; recently I have been using the peach & lily spot corrector vitamin C serum and its SO great.
4. Eyes:
Luckily, I don’t have horrible discoloration under my eyes but I do see a huge difference when I use good eye products. Night time I like to use a thicker and more hydrating cream vs. daytime I like a brightening serum or something with caffeine.
5. Moisturizer:
This one is my personal favorite. My night routine usually consists of my anti-aging products and things you really shouldn’t get sun with. I have loved every moisturizer I have ever tried from Elemis, right now I’m addicted to the pre-collagen marine cream. Sometimes I mix this in with my tanning drops (lux unfiltered ofc) before bed when I feel like my face is not matching my body color.
6. Matching Jammies
NOT a skincare product but definitely one of my necessities. I mean, who doesn’t want to feel AND look fabulous when they wake up?
