Fall 2021 Trends

Hi!
Welcome back to another season of trends. As summer comes to a close, it’s time to put together your Fall 2021 wardrobe. This year we’re not sticking to boring neutrals - we’re going bolder in colors/textures/fits with a lot of glamour, bright blues, pastel purples, red accents, statement pieces, & more. Hope you enjoy!
Printed Pants
Prints are back and better than ever. Printed pants can elevate any casual outfit or can be dressed up to the nines. There were so many different prints on the runway this season whether it’s on denim, trousers, or wool pants. Patterns are another easy way to draw inspiration from for a seasons wardrobe. Here are some Fall runway 2021 inspo prints for your fun pants this fall.
Bra Under Blazer
You guys have to know by now that I have always loved a good blazer. I must have like 13 by now. This season we’re going bigger with oversized blazers dressed up with a bra under. A little business a little pleasure. This trend has to be my favorite of the season because I pretty much only style my blazers this way. Think - Slouchy blazer and trouser sets with a subtle sexy lace or mesh bra underneath. Stunning. This gives me off duty model vibes.
Sweater Vest
Definitely NOT my vibe, although I really did love this trend last winter with oversized vests and button downs. This season is a little more intense. We’re wearing like real plaid/diamond print fitted sweater vests. Pair with a T or long sleeve for a casual 70’s vibe.
Lavender
Pastels in Fall? I’ll take it. I like to pick one color that I see the most as my color scheme inspo for that season. Lavender has been everywhere! Sticking to a color scheme makes your putting an outfit together so much easier. Check out this seasons color palette here for more colors of fall 2021.
Shine
Sequins, glitter, metallics, rhinestones and MORE. This season we’re giving roaring 20’s with an 80’s vibe. You don’t need to consider these statement pieces for now, this season is about casually incorporating your bling into a daytime look. (Think - Tshirt with a sequin skirt, daytime Sequin top and denim) We’re not just normalizing casual sequins, we’re layering them too. Yup. Sequins on Sequins. (Think - sequin set, embellished jacket over metallic dress, Sequin blazers & Trousers, Long sleeve dresses.)
Loafers
Not fully on board with this trend just yet, maybe because I was forced to wear loafers my entire middle and high school life ? I think so. I do remember them being very comfy though. This season will be a little different from last year less chunky more refined, so this might convince me to try it.
Apres Ski
Since Apres Skiing is all I usually do, I am very happy with this trend. Thick cozy cable knit sweaters with comfy mom jeans or trousers and sneakers will give you the perfect Ski-in Ski-out vibe. Also great to pair with boots and skirts !
Puffer Jackets/Accessories
Puffy jackets, puffy purses, puffy shoes. Anything cloud like or furry will do. I am definitely into this trend, usually more for the winter, but I will definitely make it work for fall. Accessories are the easiest way to spice up any look so finding the trending accessory of every season is super crucial for me. Layer the puffs or dress up a boring outfit with a fluffy bucket hat or leather woven bag.
Tall Slouchy boots
Something about tall boots just makes me feel like a badass. This trend is great because we finally get to switch up our suede stiletto knee highs. This fall we’re keeping it casual with these comfy slouchy boots. Pair well with skinny trousers, skinny denim, mini skirts/dresses.
Detached Sleeves/Opera gloves
I am dead over this trend. Something about this gives me runway but also princess vibes. This is a perfect fall trend for Miami girls and anyone else that lives in warmer weather almost all of fall. Great transitional pieces too! - You can easily wear a top or dress without the sleeves and change the look completely.
