Rating My Designer Sneakers

Let’s Rate Designer Sneakers…
YSL - Giving you the bad news first - As far as looks go, I love these sneakers so much, but they are truly the most uncomfortable shoes in my closet (maybe ever). I have to admit… I was warned. Although I can usually tolerate an uncomfortable shoe for an outfit, not with these sneaks. It honestly makes me so sad because I love the brand and the style of sneaker. For these reasons, they’ve been sitting in my closet after 2 walks.
Gucci - These were handed down to me and I love them so much! They feel really light and more casual IMO. Overall good reviews from other friends that I know wear them often. I recommend the platform version if you’re a little shorter or just into the chunkier sneaker look.
Valentino - I can definitely say these shoes are VERY durable. These sneakers have been with me throughout college (FSU was a crazy place). I took them to a cobbler to touch up and deep clean them after I graduated. They definitely still show some signs of aging, but doing that REALLY brought them back to life. Not sure why I decided to galivant around Tallahassee in such expensive sneakers, but you live and you learn.
Yeezy - I feel like not everyone would consider this a designer sneaker because it’s technically another adidas sneaker, but with how complicated it can be o get your hands on these.. a lot of the times it gets up into the designer shoe price range. I have 3 pairs that I have been very lucky to never pay over $350. My first pair I got through a small business, the other two I entered a few of the official adidas raffles and got them at regular price! ($220). Great Idea if you feel lucky and want to sell them online after the raffle. If you aren’t really set on a specific color, you can definitely find reasonable prices on places like StockX. Overall, SOOO comfy, very durable, 10/10! I wear these to concerts, to the gym, to run errands, pretty much anything. My original pair must have so many miles on them and they still look good as new.
Louboutin - I am definitely biased because I have been obsessed with louboutin since I was like 12… but these are definitely one of my favorite designer sneakers. I love the velcro straps, the statement color, and of course the red rubber bottom (It won’t fade :)). I love the subtleness of having the branding be underneath the shoe. I think this is just such a classy brand, I consider these my “Fancy” sneakers.
Louis Vuitton - Newest to the collection, so I have to place these at #1. Another very timeless brand and very subtle branding. I really love the platform on these, it kind of gives me alexander mcqueen oversized sneaker vibes and I’m here for it. I also really love the LVs being in white with a tiny piece of the original print. Very unique shoe I have gotten soooo many compliments on. They also match perfectly with my mini backpack!
